Your first exam lasts about an hour — a full set of digital X-rays, intraoral camera photos, and a review of your medical history with Dr. Kim.
Dr. Kim will discuss your current condition and any suggested treatment. Cleanings are scheduled as a separate visit at your convenience.
Please provide your dental insurance information to our office manager, Julia — she'll help you understand your eligibility and coverage. Please bring your current insurance card to your visit.
Please understand that your actual patient portion may differ from any initial estimate, depending on your specific plan.
Call about your coverageFor new patients we take a full mouth set of digital X-rays — 18 images, about 10 minutes — checking for cavities, gum disease, or infections. We also use an intraoral camera so you can see exactly what we see.
Dr. Kim will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth, review your X-rays, and discuss your current condition and any suggested treatment. We do not do cleanings on the day of your first exam — that's scheduled as a separate visit.
Please give us 48 hours advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
